Just one of those really well written, universal books with a great storyline! And It will definitely make you laugh and cry. And I really love the idea of fate and destiny. Celia Ahern’s writing is really down to earth and smooth sailing. At the end of the day, life has so many ups and downs that we all experience and I think this book really emphasises that although you experience the lows, there are so many amazing highs in life, and it’s just so so realistic and relatable – even for a 19 year old.īasically I would definitely recommend this book. I think it poses some important issues too – it covers teen pregnancy, divorce, death and grief which I think all make this book special and emotional and really relatable and really teaches you to live your life as best you can day to day. It was a really enjoyable book but as a sucker for a love story, I was really expecting them to get together much sooner than they did! Maybe that’s my romantic optimism there! Either way though, I think the rest of the book was really fantastic, the type of book you can read on the beach. I don’t want to spoil this book for anyone but I guess in one way I was a little disappointed. Love, Rosie follows best friends Rosie and Alex from childhood to their fifties in a series of emails, letters and Instant messages, which I find is a really unique form of a book kind of hard to get used to at first but when you get into it it’s a nice change compared to normal fiction. I really love books like this, being able to really follow a character throughout their lifetime. Overall, I really really enjoyed this book, it’s very similar to One Day by David Nicholls in that it focuses on two best friends over the course of the majority of their lives and focuses on how their relationship grows and changes over time.

So today I present you with a book review! I’ve recently finished Celia Ahern’s Love, Rosie – it was actually published as Where Rainbows End but after the film adaptation was produced, it’s been later published in the same name as the film: Love, Rosie.
